Szentendre · Hand-Stitched Since 1946
Crafted for Elegance.
Tailored for Time.
Every pair of CLOCKHOUSE gloves begins with a single hide, chosen by hand and cut by a single artisan who follows it through to the final saddle stitch. Refined for the modern wardrobe, made to be worn for decades.

Heritage & Craftsmanship
Four hands, three days,
one pair of gloves.
We do not run a production line. A single artisan selects the hide, reads its grain, and works around its natural markings rather than cutting them away — the reason no two CLOCKHOUSE pairs are ever quite identical.
Each glove is closed with a saddle stitch worked by two needles and a single waxed thread, a technique that cannot be replicated by machine and will not unravel if a stitch is ever lost. It takes considerably longer. It is the only method we trust.
-
Hand-Selected Hides
Peccary from the Peruvian highlands, lambskin from the Alentejo, hairsheep from the Ethiopian plateau.
-
Tactile Finishes
Cut, skived and turned entirely by hand, then burnished so the seams close invisibly against the skin.
-
Built to Outlast
Every pair carries a lifetime restoration promise — re-lined, re-stitched and returned to you.
The Craft, Up Close
Details you can only see
at arm's length.
Six stages from hide to finished glove, photographed in the atelier. Hover each frame for the craftsman's note.
Step 01
100% Saddle Stitched
Two needles, one waxed linen thread, worked by hand through every point.
Step 02
Hand-Selected Peccary & Lambskin
Hides are graded for grain, elasticity and tone before a single cut is made.
Step 03
Silk & Cashmere Lining
Inner seams are turned and closed so the lining never catches the hand.
Step 04
Edges Cut, Skived & Burnished
Every edge is pared, sealed and burnished by hand until it closes on itself.
Step 05
Initials Struck by Hand
Up to three initials are embossed with brass type, then left to settle overnight.
Step 06
Tension, Fit & Final Numbering
Each pair is checked twice against the pattern, then hand-numbered and boxed.
